Thanks to the many focus groups in 2019 Christian Taylor has accumulated a long list of things to fix and improve in The Girl Who Wore Freedom. The goal is to be “picture locked” by February 6th so that we can submit to film festivals and move on to the next stage of the project.
Want to help us make the film? We’re looking for volunteers and need donations. Please visit https://thegirlwhoworefreedom.com/donate and help us tell the veteran’s stories!

This looks wonderful. We in the Alliance Française du North Shore (IL) will do our best to publicize this event in Arlington Heights on Feb 6. Among our members, we have a native Frenchman who lived as a young man with his family in Normandy during the time of the invasion. He has told his story for a project on WW II and that has resulted in a booklet and DVD. He lives in Highland Park and could be invited to this screening. I would be happy to put you in touch with him. Our organization includes just over 100 members who speak French and enjoy French and francophone cultures. We are one of approximately 100 chapters in the U.S. and several hundred more throughout the world.
